Dr. Burgut is double- boarded in Psychiatry and Neurology. She has over twenty years of clinical experience in treating a diverse range of psychiatric disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, other complicated mood disorders, cognitive disorders, attention deficit disorders, anxiety, insomnia and stress related disorders.  Dr. Burgut has been on academic faculty in multiple reputable institutions including Weill Cornell Medicine - New York Presbyterian and Mt. Sinai Medical Center in NYC and Sheppard Pratt and GW School of medicine in the DMV area.
